Sword Art Arena is a project of fighting game based on anime Sword Art Online on Little Fighter 2 engine. For now I plan to create a beta version of game with 6 characters. Certainly it will be:
- Kirito
- Klein
- Sachi
About other character for now I assume it will be Asuna, Kuradeel and Heatcliff but everything can change.
When the beta version will be done I'm going to promote game on webpages of SAO and LF2 mods to increase popularity. This will help me with creating team to finish full version of game that could contain to nearly 30 characters. Of course if I'll find people who deal with spriting my project significantly will move on faster.
For now Sword Art Arena is only a project, I don't assume that game or even beta version will will be finite, but I hope it will :) On this blog you can follow progress, comment, express your own opinion and share your interesting ideas.
Now something about game project.
If you never play LF2 or NTSD let me tell you about it :) Games on this engine are 2D fighting game where can we fight with computer and up to 4 players and playing stage mode- for SAA it would be playing mission from anime- touring next floors, fighting with bosses and also side quest like solving riddle of death in the Safe Area or fight with Kuradeel. There is a chance that if I create right team in SAA will be added ALO saga :) Enjoy!

I would like to mention that the running animation might need an extra frame with his leg actually going down, otherwise it looks like he's just jumping really weird, also his shoulders move a bit to much. apart from that i love how this looks and i think it's a great idea keep working on it i'll support you =D
